Pediatric Nurse Practitioner needed north-east of Houston. Responsible for performing physical examinations and preventive health measures within prescribed guidelines and instructions of attending physician. Orders, interprets, and evaluates diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's clinical problems and health care needs. Records physical findings, (EMR system) and formulates plan and prognosis, based on patient's condition. Discusses case with physician and other health professionals to prepare comprehensive patient care plan. Prescribes or recommends drugs or other forms of treatment such as physical therapy, inhalation therapy, or related therapeutic procedures. May refer patients to physician for consultation or to specialized health resources for treatment. Experience required in Pediatrics, with at least 2 years of experience but will consider new grads with strong Pediatric background. Salary is based on experience. Also, Bonus, Vacation, Insurance and CME Time is negotiable. Malpractice coverage will be provided. This is a full time, permanent position.
